A notebook that got out of hand.
Xantoluda is one person's running list of simulation and management games worth your phone's home screen. No ads, no affiliate cut, no app store of our own.
Why this exists
It started as a text thread. Every few weeks someone on the group chat would ask for a game that would not pester them with timers or beg for a five-star review, and I would type out the same three or four names. In January 2021 I moved them into a note on the Lakeshore West line and kept adding to it. That note is this site.
I am Curtis Bramwell. I fix point-of-sale systems for a living and commute into Toronto a few days a week. Management games are the whole reason my commute does not feel like a commute. A colony that needs feeding, a subway that needs untangling, a bridge that needs to not collapse: give me forty minutes and one of those and the train arrives before I notice.
What Xantoluda is not
It is not a store. Nothing installs from here. It is not sponsored, and no developer has paid to appear or to rank higher. It is not trying to be a news site either. I am slow on the big launches on purpose. The list leans toward small studios and quiet releases that get buried under whatever is trending.
The one honest caveat
I run this alone. The list refreshes roughly every second Sunday, prices and ratings drift between updates, and I will happily leave a genuinely good game off simply because I have not finished it yet. Treat every card as a snapshot from a real person, then check the live store listing before you spend anything.
